Abstract

  • The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in October 2020 was 112.68, an increase of 2.17 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increased by 2.62 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.44 percent.
  • In October 2020, Jambi Province NTP for each sub-sector was recorded at 100.08 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 103.99 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 115.98 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 96.87 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 106.53 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 108.75 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 99.06.
  • Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.59 percent. Inflation occurred in four groups of household consumption, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Clothing and Footwear group; Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Care group; as well as the Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group. Deflation occurred in two groups, namely the housing, water, electricity and other household fuels; as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. Meanwhile in the Health group; Transportation group; Information, Communication and Financial Services group; the Recreation, Sports and Culture group and the Education group did not change the index.
  • The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) Jambi Province in October 2020 was 113.50, an increase of 2.76 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
