Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in September 2020 was 110.28, an increase of 3.17 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increased by 2.97 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.19 percent.
In September 2020, Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 100.62 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 100.79 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 113.03 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 97.78 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.82 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 107.64 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 99.73.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at minus 0.24 percent. Inflation occurred in six groups of household consumption, namely the housing, water, electricity and other fuels group; Equipment, Appliances, and Household Routine Maintenance group; Health group; Transportation group; the Food and Beverage Supply group, as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. Deflation occurred in three groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; the Clothing and Footwear group and the Information, Communication and Financial Services group. Meanwhile, in the Recreation, Sports and Culture group and the Education group there was no change in index.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) Jambi Province in September 2020 was 110.45 or an increase of 2.96 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
