Abstract

In March 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kerinci Regency will be 5.47 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.73.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most indexes (inflation) of expenditure groups, namely: food, beverage and tobacco groups by 9.99 percent; clothing and footwear group at 6.36 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 6.23 percent; health group by 2.42 percent; transportation group by 1.22 percent; education group by 1.15 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.44 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.04 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index (deflation) were: the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 3.24 percent; the information, communication and financial services group was 0.77 percent and the recreation, sports and culture group was 4.49 percent.
