Abstract

Jambi Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in December 2020 amounted to 117.83, an increase of 1.80 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increased by 2.26 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.45 percent.
In December 2020, Jambi Province NTP for each sub-sector was recorded at 98.68 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 105.99 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 122.65 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 97.32 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 107.37 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 110.11 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 98.16.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) in Jambi Province in December 2020 was 119.48, an increase of 2.17 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.54 percent. Inflation occurred in five groups of household consumption, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels group; Health group; Transportation group; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group; as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. Deflation occurred in two groups, namely the Clothing and Footwear group; as well as the Recreation, Sports and Culture group. Meanwhile in the Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Care group; information, communication and financial services group; the Education group and the Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group did not change the index.
